Everyone who knows me knows one undeniable truth: I have a deep passion for events. As a kid, I was cutting out images from magazines and creating wedding "packages" with different themes. My bedroom floor was basically a high-end bridal showroom—minus the actual brides. Fast forward to adulthood, and I found myself planning my engagement party to the man of my dreams. Everything was coming together… except for—I needed a rental. And that’s when it hit me: why was I struggling to find something that matched my vision? So, that’s how Bets and Barbs was born—a luxury, small-by-design event business that blends my expertise in photography and party planning to create truly one-of-a-kind experiences. But I didn’t do it alone, oh no. I roped in my business-minded partner—the yin to my creative yang—someone who could actually understand spreadsheets and not just doodles. With their strategies and my wild ideas, we turned this passion project into a full-blown, thriving business. And, let’s be honest—we work so my dogs can have a better life. That’s why we named this company after the dogs I love. Just like them, our events are full of joy, personality, and attention to every little detail.
